In August 2009, Kimberley received her 200 RYT at Prana Yoga College in Vancouver and from that moment on, her life was transformed.
Yoga fed her heart and soul and it brought a calm and peacefulness to her hectic life as a senior executive in the not for profit world.
Immediately she began teaching yoga during the weekends and it wasn’t too long before she found herself quitting her job and teaching full time as the new owner of Steveston Village Yoga.
Loving her new profession, Kimberley thrives on being of service to her students. Seeing her students enter the class with stress, strain and tiredness, it makes her heart sing when they leave with serenity, and balance within their mind, body, and soul.
Always wanting to deepen her practice, she completed her 500 RYT in 2013.
She is now certified in Hatha, Restorative, Entrainment, and Kids Yoga.
Her passion and fulfillment of yoga comes from witnessing her students learn and grow in their yoga experience. Along with her students, Kimberley enjoys the peacefulness and clarity of mind that yoga brings.
Her philosophy is that yoga is meditation in motion, and motion in meditation.
