Tomorrow is the first day of October! Yellow, red, and orange leaves on the ground, the morning crisp air, all signs of needing warmer clothing, warm meals, and time to cozy up in front of our fire places or just on our favourite chair/couch with a good book or Netflix.
Also a time to recommit to our yoga practice, keeping us limber, focussed, and agile, not to mention just taking time out for our “self care”. This is a time of the year when we tend to get busy with our winterish activities, and buckle down to the seriousness of our work. We need to remind ourselves that we are important, and we need to take care of ourselves… Yoga, Yoga and more Yoga time.
I do want to thank all of you for your acceptance and understanding regarding Holmes. After the summer off with no classes at home and having lots of people here each day, he has gotten used to always being close to me or our visitors, and has forgotten about the etiquette of yoga. He has calmed down a bit, and now only wants to come into the room for savasana.
So to that end, I will not be closing my yoga shop, and will continue as long as all of you continue to endure his antics. I feel totally blessed to have all of your understanding and tolerance, thank you!
