I am off for an exciting adventure to London, and the Island of Ischia, Italy for a yoga retreat, and a visit with my youngest daughter Tara. So, no classes at Ommamma Yoga for a couple of weeks. We will be closed from September 25th and back on October 13th. See you on the mat!
I thought you might like to have October's schedule so you will know when the classes begin again. I am waiting for the "family crew" to let me know when they want classes to start again, I have not scheduled them for Sundays... and because there was not an appetite for the late Wednesday evening class, I have not scheduled it either. Please know you are always welcome to let me know if you want more classes at a specific time or day.
Changing things up is always fun and keeps things interesting.
If you get bored, or find yourself longing for a touch of yoga in my absence, here are a couple of yogis that I follow and a couple of links to find some yoga flows for free on the net. The yogi and yogini I am taking the retreat with is Rodney Yee and Colleen Saidman Yee, their story is interesting, and they each have yoga websites and videos on YouTube, just google them. I really enjoy Shiva Rea, Sadie Nardini, and Tara Stiles - all have such different approaches to their yoga practice. Also, check out Yoga Journal online, they often have yoga challenges for free... and last but not least, Namaste' Yoga. I love their yoga flows - they are gentle, thoughtful, and spiritual.
Remember, all you really need to do is a downward dog, a twist, and maybe a spinal lift/bridge or pigeon and that is a good yoga flow for the day, nothing too complicated.
Thank you to all of you for being the wonderful yoginis, thank you for sharing your practice with us each and every week and thank you for choosing Ommamma Yoga.
See you in a couple of weeks!
